What are the steps to apply?: Apply for Admission to Schoolcraft College

You will be assigned an SCmail email account. Be sure to check it frequently for important communications and to submit any requested documents.
Submit your applicable year(s) Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure Schoolcraft is listed as your first school. Our school code is 002315 – you can login to make a correction to your FAFSA if we are not listed first.

Request to have your final high school transcripts sent to Schoolcraft College through parchment.com or if you have completed your GED, request to have your official transcript sent to Schoolcraft College through GED.com
Do I need to be a Michigan resident?: Yes, you must be a Michigan resident since July 1 of the previous calendar year, and you must remain a Michigan resident to maintain your eligibility for the program. If you are a dependent on the FAFSA, this applies to your parent(s) as well.
Is it required that I graduated from a Michigan high school?: Yes, it is a requirement that you graduate from a Michigan High School or homeschool – earn a diploma, certificate of completion, or an equivalency certificate.
Do I need to be a U.S. citizen?: Yes, you need to be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or approved refugee.
Do I need to be enrolled as a full time student?: Yes, you will need to enroll as a full-time student (12+ credit hours) within 15 months of high school graduation.
